Oklahoma Senior Championship
May 23 & 24, 2026

Open to all USCF Members aged 50 or over by May 1.
Top-finishing Oklahoma resident is the 2026 Oklahoma State Senior Champion and qualifies to represent the state at the 2026 John T. Irwin National Senior Tournament of Champions held in August at the US Open, with a stipend supporting expenses to attend the event.
Format & time control
Four rounds. Swiss. Game in 90 minutes with 30 seconds added per move.
Prizes
(All guaranteed) 1st $200, top Class A $100, top Class B $100, top Class C $100, top Class D & below (includes unrated) $100.
Schedule
Saturday May 23 10am & 2:30pm ; Sunday 9:00am & 1:15pm.
Entry
Onsite registration is from 8:30am to 9:30am.
* Free Entry to Seniors over the age of 75
* $25 for Oklahoma residents if received by May 22
* $35 for nonresidents if received by May 22
* $35 at the door for residents and $45 for nonresidents.
General Information
Accelerated pairings may be used based on the number of entrants.
No half-point byes.
Please bring your own clock.

Please notify chief tournament director Mike Langston (405-206-7332) or [email protected] if you have signed up for the tournament and are going to have to drop or are running late. This helps avoid pairing someone who is not going to make it and avoiding re-pairing. Please reach out if you have any questions pertaining to the tournament.
