Registration Form

This is a 4 round single day event with G/45, 5 second delay time controls. There are three sections. You must play in your own section,  but you can play in a higher section if you are within 100 rating points of the floor of that section, either by a live rating pr prior published rating.  There are no other exceptions and persons who register for the wrong section will be placed back in their respective section without notice by the TD. To ensure all players get a game each round and help the smooth operation of the tournament, no bye requests will be permitted. The TD may also move a player permamently to a higher section when necessary to achieve  even numbers within a section.  There is a $300 guaranteed cash prize for first p;ace in the top section. Other prizes will be determined based on the number of entries. Round 1 will strat promptly at 9:30 A.M. followed by Round 2.  We will then have a lunch break and Round 3 will start at 2:00 P.M. followed by Round 4 at 3:45. The entry fee is $25 and advance registration is required. We can only accomodate 60 players, so register early (registration ends on Februay 6 at 10:00 pm). The tournament will take place at the Community Health Education Center (CHEC) at 261 S. Junipero Serra, San Gabriel, CA 91776.  Enter the facility from the parking lot.  Street parking is also available.
