Note: MLK Day Open (3 days long) is for both adults and children, whereas the MLK Day Scholastic Tournament (1-day event) is only open to scholastic players.

An awards ceremony will be held immediately after all games in a section finish.  Trophies and medals to top finishing individuals in each section; ribbons to all participants.

We reserve the right to merge sections if there are too few participants in a section.

Time control: G/30;d5.

Limit two half-point byes. Byes must be committed 1 hr before Round 2

Entry fee: $45 by 12/22/24, $50 by 01/05/25, $55 by 01/15/25 and $60 on or after 01/16/25 (on-site registration closes 30 minutes before round 1)

Withdrawals requested via email before NOON on Sunday 1/19/25 are eligible for a refund (minus a $10 processing fee). Full credit can be applied to any future tournament. No refunds for USCF memberships after purchased from USCF.
