Standard USCF Tiebreakers will be used in all sections to determine the winner. See rule 34F in the USCF’s Official Rules of Chess for tiebreak details.

Cash prizes will be distributed per USCF cash prize rules and will not be affected by tiebreaks of any kind.

The tie breaker procedures described below will be used to determine trophy winners.

Most recent "Live" US Chess regular ratings are used for all sections to ensure close matchups.

By attending a West Little Rock Chess Club (WLR Chess Club) event, photographs and/or video recordings of your child at the event may be published in any or all of the above-listed media at the sole discretion of WLR Chess Club and without notice or compensation, financial or otherwise, to you for use of such photographs and/or video recordings unless you expressly revoke your consent in writing by notifying WLR Chess Club at WLRchessclub@gmail.com. Once such consent is revoked WLR Chess Club will make every effort to promptly cause the photographer, video recording, and/or video image to be removed from the digital platform. WLR Chess Club is not responsible for access to or downloads of photographs, video recordings, and/or video images made by users of the digital media platform prior to such revocation and removal. You may revoke your consent at any time before a print publication has been published. Once a publication has been distributed, it will not be possible to revoke consent and your child’s photograph and/or video image may continue to be used in any publications already printed prior to the revocation of consent.
Minors will not be identified by name in West Little Rock Chess Club (WLR Chess Club) captions unless they are competing on one of the top boards or have won a championship. Please note that even where images are published without a name complete anonymity cannot be granted as someone may be able to recognize your child at the event. Championship-section winners are generally identified in WLR Chess Club photo captions by first and last name and hometown.
BEHAVIOR POLICY ACKNOWLEDGEMENT
All participants will be a good neighbor to our fellow business. We will ensure all event patrons conduct themselves in a safe and orderly manner. Children under 18 must NOT be left unattended under any circumstances! Parents who are playing must not bring their child to the tournament unless another parent or guardian is present to supervise the child while the parent is playing, even if the child is also playing in the tournament.
The West Little Rock Chess Club reserves the right to remove anyone from the premises who is causing excessive disruptions to the tournament, is acting in an unsafe or disorderly manner, or who leaves a child unattended, without refund. Removal of a player may also face additional sanctions after the event. "Disreputable conduct" includes, but is not limited to, any behavior which unnecessarily risks the safety of self or others, damage to WLR Chess Club, tournament site, hotels, disrespect of tournament staff, and disrespect of event site staff. If removal of a parent or child is required which would also leave an unaccompanied child in the tournament, then the child will also be removed from the event and their current game forfeited.
