Saturday, December 21st at 11:00 am
Four rounds: first round at 11 am, subsequent rounds occur as soon as possible
Four sections: K-12, K-8, K-5, and K-3

Note: The Benjamin Franklin Open (3 days long) is for both adults and children, whereas The Benjamin Franklin Scholastic Championship (1-day event) is only open to scholastic players
It is possible to play both events by requesting one or more byes in the main event
Trophies will be awarded to the top five finishers in each section
Time control: Game in 30 minutes with a 5-second delay
Entry fee: $35 by 11/19, $40 by 12/6, $45 by 12/20, $50 on 12/21 (on-site registration closes 30 minutes before round 1)
Masks are optional
Boards and pieces will be provided for all players, but we don’t have enough clocks for everyone (those who have clocks are welcome to bring them)
This tournament is USCF-rated
