Bye:

  • Two 1/2 point bye’s available for any round. Must declare during registration.

 

Tiebreaks:

  • Standard USCF Tiebreakers will be used in all sections to determine the winner. See rule 34F in the USCF’s Official Rules of Chess for tiebreak details.

  • Cash prizes will be distributed per USCF cash prize rules and will not be affected by tiebreaks of any kind.

  • The tie breaker procedures described below will be used to determine trophy winners.

  • Registration is subject to early closure.

  • USCF membership required; Renew here

  • Players must be familiar with the USCF’s Official Rules of Chess

  • Electronic score sheets are allowed but MUST be USCF-approved.

  • TD will accelerate pairings to pair players close in rating when possible

  • Most recent "Live" US Chess regular ratings are used for all sections to ensure close matchups.

  • All unrated players will be placed in the lower section.
