NOTE:
- The tournament is USCF-rated, but not FIDE-rated.
- The March 2005 Supplement Rating will be used for pairing and section eligibility.
- Chess set will be provided. Please bring your chess clock.
Sections:
- K-12 (OPEN)
- K-6 (Under 600)
- K-3 (Under 300)
Format:
5SS, G/25;d5.
(5 total games - Clocks at 25 minutes plus 5 seconds before you start losing time).
Round Times:
- Round 1: 10 am
- Round 2: 11:15 am
- Round 3: 12:30 pm
- Round 4: 2:30 pm
- Round 5: 3:45 pm
- Awards Ceremony: 6:00 pm
Entry Fee:
- Early Bird: $70 (by Jan. 31)
- Regular: $80 (by Feb. 28)
- Late Entry: $100 (by March 21)
Event Cancellation Policy
- $5 Cancellation Fee until March 1st. Then, until 3/21, $10. No refunds at all if you cancel after March 21st. Only email will serve as a valid cancellation.
Awards
- Trophies to the Top 25% of players (15 if we hit the capacity of 60 players)
- ALL players who complete the tournament receive either a trophy or a medal on stage!
- Team Awards!!
