Be sure to select the correct membership level. US Chess membership prices are as follows:
Youth (under 19 at time of expiration): $20
Young adult (under 24 at time of expiration): $27
Adult: $45
Senior (65+): $40
Memberships are good for one year and enable you to participate in tournaments all over the United States.
Submit payment through this form or, if you want to save the processing fees, via Venmo* to @Rebecca_Rutledge.
*If you Venmo and your username is not your real name, add a note so we know whose membership the payment is for.
Free tournament entry is for first-time US Chess members who purchase their membership through us prior to the tournament's registration cutoff time.
This is not an automatic process; don't expect your US Chess membership to activate right away after you've submitted your payment. There is no need to contact us to ask when it will be processed; it will be done prior to the tournament.
US Chess has family plan memberships that are not listed here. If three family members** play, one of these might be the best value for you. Visit Join US Chess to look at these options and email us if you decide on one of those.
**For purposes of family memberships, "family" = parents and kids up to age 24.
