Date: Saturday, September 21, 2024

Location: Clovis Senior Activity Center (735 3rd St, Clovis, CA 93612).

Eligibility: K-12th Grade Only

Entry fee: $25.00 (payable on the day of the tournament; cash preferred)

Format: 4 Round Swiss

Time control: G/30 d5 (Game in 30 minutes with a 5-second delay)

Registration and Check-in: 8:30 AM

Round 1 starts at 9:00 AM - Subsequent rounds will be on a rolling schedule. (Estimated end time is 2:00 PM)

USCF Membership: All players must have a current USCF membership to participate. If your membership is expired, we can renew it at the time of the tournament. However, please note that this will cause a delay in the tournament schedule. To join or renew your membership, click HERE.

Sections: OPEN (open to any rating level) and U1000 (unrated or player with a USCF rating under 1000)

Special Section: QUADS We're excited to offer the QUADS section again, which was a success in our last tournament, particularly for our more advanced players. In the QUADS section, you'll compete against three other players with similar ratings, playing a total of three games. This section is now open to adult players as well, providing an excellent opportunity for competitive play in a focused, evenly-matched environment.

***Please note that these sections are subject to change based on the total number of participants. Our Tournament Director (TD) reserves the right to modify the sections to ensure the best competitive experience for everyone. This may involve combining sections or adjusting the rating thresholds.***

PRIZES: Ribbons will be awarded to our 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place winners. In the event of a tie, we will have an unrated blitz tiebreak to decide a clear winner.
