REGISTRATION

• ONLINE:  Scroll down and complete all required fields. A processing fee applies (payments are collected securely through Stripe).
• IN-PERSON: Pay Chuck at the club (Wednesday nights & Saturday Gambitos) or register on-site ($170 fee).

ONSITE REGISTRATION

• 3-Day: 8:30 to 9:30 AM Saturday (August 31st)
• 2-Day: 8:00 to 9:00 AM Sunday (September 1st)

ENTRY FEE

• Early Bird: $110 (by 7/31)
• Regular: $130 (by 8/21)
• Late: $150 (after 8/21)
• On-Site: $170
• Special: $90 (U1200 section)  (Please, choose the correct [Entry Type] at the checkout). That special rate doesn't change.
• Special: Free Entry (GMs, WGMs, IMs, & WIMs)  (Please, choose the correct [Entry Type] at the checkout)

FORMAT

• 6 Round Swiss, 7 Sections
• FIDE Rated: Open & U2200 Sections (except for the 2-day schedule)
• 3-Day Schedule: G/100 +30 second increment
• 2-Day Schedule: First 3 games G/40, with 5 second delay, then merge

ROUNDS

• 3-Day: 10 AM & 4 PM on Sat, 10 AM & 4:30 PM on Sun, 10 AM & 4 PM Mon
• 2-Day: 9:30 AM, 11:30 AM, 1:30 PM & 4:30 PM on Sun; 10 AM & 4 PM Mon

BYES

• Two half-point byes allowed (book at least 1 hour before the round)
• Last Round Byes: Must be requested before round 3 and are irrevocable

PRIZE FUND

Total: $20,000 (100% Guaranteed)

• OPEN SECTION: 1st $2,200, 2nd $1,400, 3rd $1,000, 4th $600,5th $400, 6th $200; BU2300 $800, 2nd $400
• U2200: 1st $1,400, 2nd $800, 3rd $400, 4th $200
• U2000: 1st $1,300, 2nd $700, 3rd $400, 4th $200
• U1800: 1st $1,300, 2nd $700, 3rd $400, 4th $200

SPECIAL NOTES

• Players are not permitted to play more than two sections above their current rating. A $100 fee must be paid before Round 1 of the tournament if you wish to play up.
• GMs, WGMs, IMs, & WIMs: Free entry (prize deduction of $100)​​​​​​​ 
• Unrated: Not eligible for cash prizes (book or clock prize only)
• Re-entry Fee: $75 (must be U2300)
• Refund Charge: $15
• Forfeit Fine: $25 (contact Chuck ASAP if unable to make a round)
