Prizes 1st - 5th place trophies per RATED division. 1st - 3rd place medals per UNRATED decision. 1st - 3rd place team trophies. A school must have at least 4 representatives to qualify as a team.

Bye Policy

A half-point bye will be given for any round prior to the start of the tournament. Once the tournament begins half-point byes can be requested for rounds 1-3 but only zero-point byes for rounds 4 + 5

FAIR PLAY POLICY:

Fair Play: (taken from the chess.com website)

  • No chess programs or engines (e.g. Chessmaster, Fritz, Komodo, Houdini, Stockfish, Chessbase with any active UCI engine, etc.) can be used to analyze positions in ongoing games at any time.  
  • No outside assistance OF ANY KIND is permitted.
  • Fixing game results by arranging games, playing with multiple accounts, or losing intentionally is also against the rules.

**SANITATION POLICY**

All players are required to wash their hands or use sanitizer before each round. Masks are optional.
