4 round Swiss system tournament.
Time Control: G/90;+30
Round Times: 10 AM & 3 PM Sat & Sun

Class A (1800 - 1999),
Class B (1600 - 1799),
Class C (1400 - 1599),
Class D (1200 - 1399),
Class E/Unrated (1199-100)

Entry fee: $55 Online, $65 at tournament.  CSCA membership required of all Colorado players. 1/2 point bye for 1st round if arriving after 9:40 AM. 
Prizes: Based on 65 paid entries
Class M&X  300-150
Class A        280-140
Class B        260-130
Class C        240-120
Class D        220-110
Class E        200-100
Unrated players may play in the top section or in the E section. Unrated players in the E section will be restricted to a $100 prize cap.

Unrated players may play in the top section or play in E section with a $100 prize cap. All other players must play in their class.
Registration: 8:30-9:45, arriving after 9:45, you'll have a 1/2 point bye for the first round.

Bye Policy

One 1/2 point may be requested for rounds 1-3. Round 2 or 3 must be requested in writing before start of round 2. Zero point bye for round 4.

Players must have a current USCF membership. Players without a current or with an expired membership on the day of the tournament will receive zero-point byes each round until proof of

Tie Breaks to determine each Class Champion: Modified Median, Solkoff, Cumulative, Opponents, Cumulative. (Tie breaks are not used to determine cash prizes)
Class Championship winners earn the right to represent Colorado in our next annual team match versus New Mexico if it is scheduled.
