SDCC APRIL SCHOLASTIC GAMES - G45d5, 3 WEEKS, 6 ROUNDS
(PLAYERS K THROUGH K12 ONLY)
 

WHEN: April 2nd (Sunday), April 16th (Sunday), April 23rd (Sunday). From 12 to 3 pm
WHERE: San Diego Chess Club, 2225 6th Avenue, San Diego, CA
FORMAT: 6 rounds, G/45d5 (Regular and Quick rated). 2 rounds each Sunday.
SECTIONS: ONE OPEN section, accelerated pairings (similar rating players with same points are paired)
PRIZES: Amazon gift cards to Best U1200, U1100 etc etc (depending on registrations).
ENTRY FEE: $35 (families with more than 2 kids, 3rd, 4th kid get in for free), covers 3 weeks of playing
BYES: 2 bye are allowed (you can skip up to 2 rounds and get 1/2 pt for each). If you don't tell us you are taking a bye, your games will be forfeited. If you need more than 2 byes, the third buy will be 0 point.

Terms and Conditions
  • f the participant is YOUNGER than 12 years old, parent/guardian/designated adult should be present on San Diego Chess Club’s premises during the tournament (No drop-offs).
  • I agree to hold harmless the San Diego Chess Club, Scholastic Coordinator  (Irina Nizmutdinova) and all tournament staff from  any events that cause harm/damage to your child and/or personal belongings. The tournament and tournament staff are not responsible for any lost or stolen items.
  • There is a “Zero Tolerance Policy” for any inappropriate behavior such as criticizing, bullying, not listening to tournament instructions, or any attempt of harm of anyone else. Consequence: Immediate removal from the tournament.
