2nd Annual Sheridan County Youth Chess Tournament

Friday, February 21, 2025 --- 8 AM to 5:00 PM - Sheridan Junior High School

Parents Welcome

Parents are required to register their child.
In-person registration 8 AM to 8:45 AM – Friday, February 21, 2025
Parents with children 12 years old and under must sign them out.

No Entry Fees

Youth 18 years and younger
Free lunch provided by: Powder River Pizza
Gold Division for older/ more-experienced players.
Silver and Bronze Divisions for younger players.
Chess Sets for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place winners in each division.
Collectable Chess Key Chains for all players.
Five 1-hour games with 30-minute time limit for each player.

Schedule

• 9 AM: Opening Remarks and Explanation of Rules
• 9:10 AM: 1st Game
• 10:25 AM: 2nd Game
• 11:40 AM: Lunch
• 12:15 PM: 3rd Game
• 1:30 PM: 4th Game
• 2:45 PM: Group Picture - Photo release required.
• 3:00 PM:  5th Game
• 4:30 PM Presentation of Chess Awards.
