This is a 4 round single day event with G/45:5 second delay time controls. This  time cintrol counts towards both yout regular and quick rating.  Everyone will register for one open section, but we will use either accelerated pairings or, group players into similar rating groups to achieve competitive pairings.    Round 1 will strat promptly at 9:30 A.M. followed by Round 2.  We will have a lunch break after Round 2 and Round 3 will start at 2:15 P.M. followed by Round 4 at 4:15. The tournamnet should conclude by 6:15P.M.  The entry fee is $25 and advance registration is required. We can only accommodate 50 players, so register early. We will return 75% of the entries in prizes.   The tournament will take place at the Community Health Education Center (CHEC) at 261 S. Junipero Serra, San Gabriel, CA 91776.  Enter the facility from the parking lot.  Street parking is also available. Lots of good eating places within walking distance.
