Tiebreaks:
Standard USCF Tiebreakers will be used in all sections to determine the winner. See rule 34C in the USCF’s Official Rules of Chess for tiebreak details.
Cash prizes will be distributed per USCF cash prize rules and will not be affected by tiebreaks of any kind.
Tiebreaking procedures described below will be used to determine trophy winners.
Should a two-way tie for first place occur in any section, a one-game, rated, G/5 blitz match will be held to determine the trophy winner. If a draw results in the blitz game, another G/5 blitz match will be held.

Most recent "Live" US Chess regular ratings used for all sections to ensure close matchups.
Playing up, players can play up to the next section if their USCF Rating is within 150 points of the next section. If sections are available.
All unrated players will be placed in the lower section.

No spectator's are allowed in the playing room while games are in progress.
No talking with anyone if your game is still in progress.
By registering for or attending this event, players and guests grant permission to WLR Chess Club to take and use photographs and video for purposes related to the event.

Special Notices:
This event will be held at Highland Valley United Methodist Church in the Youth Center. Please follow the signs for parking in the rear of the church parking lot. Participants, their families, and friends are encouraged to hang out in the main lobby during the tournament. "WLR Members," will have access to a private club room, where snacks, water bottles, and coffee will be provided. Spectators will not be allowed in the playing room or hallway during matches.
Most importantly, The Little Rock Arkansas Chess Club will be a good neighbor to our fellow business. We will ensure all event patrons conduct themselves in a safe and orderly manner. Children under 18 must NOT be left unattended under any circumstances! Parents who are playing must not bring their child to the tournament unless another parent or guardian is present to supervise the child while the parent is playing, even if the child is also playing in the tournament.
The West Little Rock Chess Club reserves the right to remove anyone from the premises who is causing excessive disruption to the tournament, is acting in an unsafe or disorderly manner, or who leaves a child unattended. If removal of a parent or child is required which would also leave an unaccompanied child in the tournament, then the child will also be removed from the event and their current game forfeited.
