OCTOBER 9th (SUNDAY)

The registration is done online only  No at the door registrations will be allowed  The registration will close when the number reaches 104 participants or by 3 pm on Saturday, October 8th.  

WHERE: San Diego Chess Club, 2225 6th Avenue, San Diego, CA
FORMAT: 4 rounds, G/30 rated as Regular and Quick (maximum time for each round is 1 hour). 1 bye allowed. 
WHEN: First round starts at 1 PM. It's important to arrive earlier around 12:20/12:30 for check-in.  
The first time tournament players will be given short 15 min orientation before the tournament at 12:45pm. 
The tournament is expected to last around 5 hours. Lower rated sections might finish sooner.
SECTIONS: Open, U800, U600, and U300.  Sections are subject to changes depending on number of registrations. 
PRIZES: Trophies to top 4 finishers in each section.
RAFFLE:  Raffle at the end of the tournament (chess sets, chess bags, chess clocks). Raffle tickets will be collected at the check-in.
ENTRY FEE: $15 (online payment or Venmo). ​​​
