ICEA 2022 August OTB USCF-Rated Chess Tournament [August 14th]

Tournament Date: Sunday, August 14th, 2022

Entry Fee:

• Register Online: $25 (by 8/13/2022)
• Register Onsite: $30 (before 8:50 am and fill this form ahead)
• If you have 2000+ USCF rating, you can contact chess@icea1.org to register for free or just fill this form.

Time Control:

• 1800+ & 1000+ section:  G/45;+5 (45 minutes for each player and 5 seconds incremental for each move)
• U1000 section:  double rounds of G/30;+5 (30 minutes for each player and 5 seconds incremental for each move)

Format and Round Times:

1800+ & 1000+ Section:

4 Round Swiss

G/45;+5 (each round should take about 90 minutes)

9 am, 11 am, 1:30 pm, 3:30 pm PT

U1000 Section:

3 double rounds G/30; +5 (each player plays x2 games Black/White Vs. same opponent)

9 am, 11 am 1:30 pm PT

Note:

1. Email to chess@icea1.org to request advance byes if you need to miss any rounds. One half-point bye available for 1800+ & 1000+ sections.
2. Players should bring their own sets & clocks & pencils & scoresheets.
3. We will use August 2022 (or most recent) supplement ratings for the pairing.
4. TD reserves the right to adjust ratings and the sections in unusual circumstances.

PRIZES (70% of collection goes to Prize Fund): 

6-10 Players: Top 3 players

11-20 Players: Top 4 Players

(if less than 6 players, we might combine the sections)
